Saw the ad and really wanted to go, but was disappointed to know that the only thing it had to do with "healing through freedom and self expression," was the bubble funk I bought there, which was alright.

It was a big entrance with a small area to shop in and not a very wide selection. The lucky charms rice crispie didnt do anything to me. It was more like a waste of $10. Oh, and to top it all off, I like how they have a security guard there, but he scared the living crap out of me.

Omg. They offer a free gram to entice new customers but what they fail to mention until you are there is that the gram they give you is home grown! What an insult. This was the worst shwag I've ever seen. And the two women that were serving us weren't pleasant at all. Like robots with no personality and no fire at all!

Meds were ok. No great price break. Gave me a free small glass pipe, but no hole in the bowl and a one hit cig pipe. Nice people even though they made me feel rushed.

I have to say that this place is awesome. Friendly knowledgable workers, good prices, great quality, if you havent checked out this place, I would reccomend that you do.

A great club with great buds and good prices! Sometimes, they are out of a bud that I want, but they always have something that is of quality that I can get!

I wish they had more types of hash and kief, but that's the only downfall!

This medical cannabis clinic is getting very hectic! The security guard at the door has a bullet proof vest! A metal bar closes the door behind you..... Kushism has very nice buds, but getting very ghetto.

This place is the worst of the worst!! I found it by their very false and misleading ad they were running on another web site. I went there and only had money for 2 grams. The prices they had were also much higher then they had listed in the ad.

I bought the 2 grams which were put into a bag and closed up. When I got home I weighed them and 1 was .5 and the other .7 of very dry and poor quality weed. I tried calling them and contcting them by email and they refused to do anything about it.

Other then their cool name they are a total rip off. Thankfully I have found numerous good places since!

I found Kushism when I was driving in Van Nuys. How could I miss a name like that?? I Googled "KUSHISM," found their web site, and started browsing. I have been a medical marijuana patient under prop 215 for 4 years and I am sometimes skeptical of the rise in cannabis clubs and "caregivers" that have sprouted in Los Angeles and all over California.

The first link I checked was the Strains, and I convinced myself that this co-op was worth a visit to satisfy my curiosity as to how "real" their "The REAL OG" is, and I have always been a fan of "Purple Master". They had a nice listing of kush, so I had to check out the quality. I mean, it is nice to have a sophisticated menu of mmj strains, but I wanted to see if this co-op was quality or quantity? Were they true caregivers or just another weed shop trying to protect themselves under prop 215?

I called the number to pre-verify. The woman on the phone had that " busy sound" in her voice, but sounded sweet and pleasant nonetheless. She called me back within ten minutes to confirm that I have been pre-verified. I made my trip after work, and got to the co-op around 8pm-ish.

I walked in to an elaborately decorated reception room, I could only assume was for inspiration. It was comfy. I produced my identification, and was given a clipboard with an application. I was waiting for about 10 minutes. At first, I was antsy but then I realized why. They admit one patient at a time. I wonder what happens during busy-time? But I will admit, I did like the one-on-one thing because it felt personal.

T hey had a glass case of all their strains, but I came there with particular strains in mind. I asked for the Purple Master first, which to my disappointment, they had no more available as of that afternoon. The girl offered to contact me as soon as they got more in. Okay, next.

I examined "The REAL OG" and was immediately satisfied with the trichomes on the flower. I took a look at â Triple xxx OG Bubbaâ . Where did these names come from? Understand, I am an older soul and a product of the G-13 days. It was a great, pungent smelling flower and well manicured. I was torn between the two, and actually decided on an eighth of the latter! I told myself I would come back for "The Real OG" if todays strain discovery ended up being well worth the visit. I also picked up a gram of the "Afghani Blonde Hash".

While she was weighing out my mmj, I noticed "East Coast Bud" on the board at $25 an EIGHTH! Ok, so I had to check that out. Well, at $25 an eighth, I guess the term applies, "you get what you pay for." I passed on the East Coast Bud. Ha ha. The woman packaged my mmj and said she added a gram of their Hash Plant since I had donated over $50 and I was a new patient. Well that was definitely nice!

I loved the fancy-shmancy "Triple xxx OG bubba." I am going back for "The Real OG" in a few days. It all worked out well too, because the one I frequented in Van Nuys, which was another medical marijuana dispensary nearby had recently closed its doors. Kushism is very convenient for me. It is a caregiver in the valley that I would recommend at least checking out.
