So I just stopped by my favorite shop on my way home and dude I've been so happy with what they have suggested every time that I had to write this review for the boys at DEC. Check it out this place is the bomb.

Wow! The last post writer has it all wrong! DEC has always had great people and great quality. In fact, DEC has added more strains than they used to have. People want choice and they've got it at very competitive donations. You get what you pay for. Their new Liquid Gold concentrate doesn’t give you headaches like the junk other dispensaries are putting out there. DEC is number one in my book. They are professional and always aim high.

My friend, who we will keep anonymous, referred me to DEC. He said they had great meds so I wanted to check it out. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by this big security guard, who by the way was very friendly, helpful, and got me verified quickly. Then I was let into to the back where they had a huge selection of medicinal marijuana. Then I asked the budtender what was the best med they had. They showed me a few different strains, but the OMG was by far the best out of them all. I will surely be back for some more. Peace.

DEC is a bomb collective! There had to be about 100 strains of medical marijuana and other high-grade quality meds. The staff are very helpful and extremely professional. It's kind of hidden, but there was parking in the back of the building when I went. I ended up getting the OMG OG ans some Liquid Gold and I got One word. FIRE! I thought the Liquid Gold was just some gimmick but I assure you will get where you want to go and beyond.  They gave me 10% off since I got a concentrate and top shelf 1/8th.  To be honest if you like high quality meds and you like chill people this is the spot! Super chill vibe top shelf meds, I am there!

So I just checked this place out for the first time and when I walked in it was cool. The security guard verified me and got me inside pretty quickly. When I went back to the medication room I was a little surprised to see that big of a selection but very happy. The friendly staff greeted me and it was nice because they took the time to introduce me to their collective. Some places just get you in and out. It was nice to get the time to actually see all they had to offer. So the guy who was helping me showed me this concentrate (THC Liquid gold) he told me about it and recommended it to me, after donating - I went home and medicated. The THC Gold blew me away! It was amazing! I also donated on an 1/8th of OMG OG it was such a great OG I have not seen such great flower is so long. I would definitely recommend the OMG and the THC Gold! will definitely be paying DEC a visit soon they have such good holiday specials...

I don't know if their staff is contributing to these reviews (because they seem too positive) or when I stopped in for a refill everyone was playing an awesome joke. This place is not worth your time or "donation".

Before this club moved down from it's upstairs location I had been a first time customer. The moment I walked in, it was all downhill. I waited over 5 minutes for someone to notice I was there. (Too busy smoking rather than working). Smoking in the building, loud music, and the staff seemed like they were trying to hustle anything they could on you. No use of tongs they just touch the buds.

The new downstairs location is open so I stopped in to see if there were any improvements. Unfortunately, whoever is running this new business has failed. A step down the ladder to a smaller, ghetto-ran setup in a closet space. Obnoxious employees, ridiculous hash prices! Keep your money talks outside of the shop.

Do not go here!

D.E.C. Medical is honestly the spot to be at to get your meds. To start off, the staff is super friendly. The prices are reasonable, which means if you pay for a $20 gram, it's totally worth it. Like that OMG OG, the 9021OG, and that DEC OG that I picked up this morning, it was some dank. Even the cheaper stuff is also pretty awesome. This is the best shop in the valley!

DEC is back and better than ever. I went in there the other day and got an 1/8 of OMG OG that was the bomb.They had a large selection of high quality meds. The bud tender was on point and knew his meds. Thanks for the great advice, I'll be back soon to pick up another fat sack of some dank ass OMG OG. You could count on it.

Whenever I come out to la, this is the first place I stop along the way. It's open late to meet all my medical needs. 7 days a week. The variety is the best in the area; from the edible "pounders" to the ever growing selection, you can't go wrong with a quick visit. Make your way over to the best connection in town.

New to writing reviews here, but I felt I had to in this case. I just got my medical license this past October. I haven't been to many shops but this place is a jewel in that it competes with and tops those dispensaries on bud quality and blows them away on price. Budmaster B,the guy who helped me was ridiculously knowledgeable about what the different buds did for you as far as medinical purposes, in my case insomnia. I got some OMG OG which I must say blew me away. I was in and out with exactly what I had come for and with a few bucks still on me. Bottom line, I will definitely be coming back soon!

DEC is awesome, I just went their yesterday after receiving a text, I guess they just re-opened. Anyway they have amazing strains. I got was going in for an OG and got their house 90210G which not only look phenomenal, but definitely would cost alot more at any other dispensary. Funny thing is when I was sitting in the waiting room their was a chick who was their who actually works at the Faramacy was there, she said that the Sour Diesel was better and less expensive than at the dispensary she works at even with her employee discount. If you do not check this place out you are doing a disservice to yourself!

umm well

I go to this club alot since it's right down the street, and wanted to say something about the comments below.

Yeah, the guys who work inside dress like gangsters, it's Van frickin Nuys, look around everyone dresses that way. And yeah they play rap music, occasionally loud, but most of the time what you hear coming up the elevator is the two recording studios in the same building. And about people hanging out in front, dRc is there too, never hear any complaints on them. Sounds like a bunch of haters, btw they moved again.

There is parking behind in a lot or right behind or on the street out in front. The reviews about all the loud rap music and "gangsters" hanging out inside is true, but they were chill. For my 1st time visit I got to test out a bowl before buying it, and when I got a gram I got like 1.5 and a free brownie. Nice guys. Don't let their image fool the quality of their bud or the service.

The post below states some subjects that are not true, preposterous in fact! The only truth is before you enter the shop you might just hear rap music but thats it. About the staff being drunk and rude, incorrect for all the times i went. They gave me the mutual respect you dont see being given no more. And about the bunch of gang members hanging out wrong, its not a hangout its a clinic. You get what you need then your on your way. Its not your local park. Ive never seen beer bottles or open containers in this facility.

I visit thoroughly couple times a month and every time i go they make me feel good and give me mutual respect so instead of telling people dont go to DEC because youll feel like your buying on the streets of Compton theres no need to use Compton as saying a "ghetto place" because Compton is one of the thousands of ghettos in Los Angeles and in the clinic if you dont have your medication id and rec on you you cant go inside and buy marijuana like you would do on the "streets of Compton " with or without a card. Therefore i would rate this clinic a 8 because of the way the staff is with me and other patients and the friendly environment. Thank you DEC.

This place is outta control. I went there twice and the staff was all drunk and rude. Before I even went into the shop I could hear rap music bumping and vibrating the building. There were a bunch of gang members hanging out with the security guard (who was drinking) and they were loud and rude. There was a bunch of empty beer bottles all over the place, and you could tell that anything could happen. They were playing video games and were arguing over it, almost coming to blows. Avoid this place by all means, unless you wanna feel like you're buying off the streets of Compton. I would rate this place negative 10.

I have been to this clinic and unlike other people they are amazing. The service is outstanding and I would recommend this medical clinic to everyone. They are open late (2 a.m) which works perfect for a late night. Also amazing prices which ALWAYS works for me :)

I would have to agree. And you may or may not know this, but since January 1st 2009 they stay open late. Give them a call and stop by if you have a late night necessity.

Not only do they carry primo meds, and stay open late, they also have a unique staff which supports a growing community in which peace and a hope for a better lifestyle is kept in mind all day!

They also continuously offer one-of-a-kind specials that you have to check up on from time to time to avoid missing out! Just last month I received 2g no charge, a free plum kush spliff, and a free edible.. simply for bringing in their monthly advertisement! What a pleasant surprise!

The area is relatively safe being next to well known police headquarters w/ lights illuminating the main street all night. I've pretty much summed up my experiences, and all I can say is if you haven't already been there for your herbal necessities, what are you waiting for?
