Terrible place! Terrible customer service. The rudest staff and security .The prices are way to high for the products on hand. Everyone in the DMV like waiting area were complaining of the same issues with the place. I went once and they were so rude I did not even purchase anything. How sad. How can you run an American icon's name into the ground by opening a horrible dispensary and trying to lure people in on his legacy? Awful, awful place.

TLMD is very unprofessional. They take an unannounced lunch, and close shop, making their customers wait in the lobby for around 1 hour.

This happened to me twice. One person had to get their CA DL back from the window person and it took about 15 minutes just to get his licence back so he could leave.

It was sad to see respectable people being treated like junkies.

Why can't they just take their lunch in shifts like any other business or if they need to take a group lunch, they should schedule it and let their customers know, so that their licences aren't being held hostage.

The security guard is not rude, just serious. If you don't pay attention to what he says, he can be curt, but wake up and know he is trying to keep the place open for you. Get through the doors and the security arch and you are in for a wonderful, caring experience.

The folks behind the counter know the medicine and can guide you in finding the strain that works best for your particular problem. They are patient, friendly and honest. I have been to several dispensaries all over LA and Orange counties and I think TLMD is worth the drive from Riverside. I always feel that I have been treated extremely fairly and on sale days you walk out with the store!

I've been here before and hated it, but gave it another shot only to reinforce my dislike for this shop. I got the Super Train wreck, 1/2 oz and it was the driest, weakest medical marijuana I have ever bought from a dispensary. The price was high too.

There are too many stores in this area to settle for TLMD. Unfriendly people, from the security gaurd to the people behind the counter. They don't give you the feeling that they are helping you.

Can't get over how rude the security guy was to me, though I can see by the other reviews it wasn't personal. I've been to many dispensaries in SF and LA and I've never met anyone as completely unwelcoming. The budtenders seemed nice enough, a little more slick sales than sincere compassion, but hey. They earned the one star I am forced to give. The meds were dryer than I am used to and honestly nothing special, though there is a vast, possibly unparalleled, selection of mediocrity for average prices. With all the dispensaries that have everything going for them (including great employees), I see no reason to go back.

Holding a prescription since 2004, I've tried out dispensaries all across this city. I have to say that TLMD takes their business seriously. The place is kept secure for everyone's safety, and there's at least one genuine guard who works there. I don't know another dispensary who gives out more gifts and discounts on medicine. $40 1/8th's of quality stuff, not stress and shake! Not to mention the sales they have every once in a while. Yeah, the room gets crowded during that time, but it's obviously worth it. After searching for clubs in my area, and finding lackluster stores with bare cases and outrageously high prices ($110 1/8th for "cannabis cup winner" - WTF people?!) I had to show some love to TLMD. It appears that I'll still be making the drive from Mid-City to the Valley. Just wish they were open till 2AM!

This place is by-far the best place in town. Very friendly people and I have asked all kinds of questions, and have never had any issues. I do believe its the energy you bring they give it back. In other words if your a prik they will treat you like one. Be happy and enjoy.

These guys got the goods the Banana/OG-Kush is the best around. I had no trouble getting in or with security.The guy behind the counter didn't seem to want me to smell the jars,but he wasn't rude.

Pros:
-Lots of strains
-Cute dogs
-Sometimes they have a good deal on oz in vending machine.

Cons:
- Have not been here in a while but some of their oz prices a very expensive.
- Have to buy out of the vending machine to get their deal.
- The Bud Tender gives me a difficult time when I ask to see the jar.
- Waiting thing is annoying too.
- Been shorted couple of points.
- Do not seem to be about compassion.

I was on this site a few days ago reading reviews on this club. There where some good and some bad, but a friend told my that this was the spot, so I tried it for my self and wow! I was pretty impressed with the security, it was pretty hardcore but in a good way. Looks as if these guy are looking out for there patients and their safety. Once inside there was a sea of meds with great pricing. The staff is very helpful and nice, I asked some standard question just to test what I had read and this young man was very willing to answer them. I have been a patient for about eight years and have been to a ton of so called caregiver clinics and this is one of the best. I would rate this place 8 out of 10 because no one is perfect!

Face it, the place is legit! The epitome of professional and a good indicator of why they're still in business. The staff is very knowledgeable, and yes, may push certain strains at times to help move the weight. Aside from that, there is an ample selection. By far the largest I have seen or heard of. You get what you pay for, and more so recently, there have been decent everyday deals. If you are more attracted to the price, think twice!

This store should be boycotted by all patients. These guys don't treat you like a medical patient. They treat you like just want your money. Starting with the security guard; who is the rudest guy I have ever met. Once inside they don't want to talk to you, dont want to discuss any of the different strains, push you towards the machines, and are just inconsiderate. Yesterday I went in and the guy became upset with me because I was asking him questions about new strains. Avoid this place. I am considering setting up a picket line.

A good dispensary but definitely not without it's faults. First of all they make you wait in the lobby before calling you in. Now normally I would consider this only a small inconvenience until I realized they actually make you wait! An example of what I mean: I have gone to the club and have been literally the very first customer of the day and they still made we wait 20 plus minutes. This is unexcusable. So thumbs down for convenience. Don't expect to just be in and out ever. This has shyed me away from going here on numerous occasions when I needed meds quickly. I'm sure they lose more business than they should by doing this as I've had buddies tell me they only go to TLMD only when they have time to waste.

Now the meds you also have to be wary of. The selection seems unmatched when you see the amount of strains available. Again: be careful. I am a big lover of the AFPAK strain cuz I need it for sleep. I was pleased to see it was available at TLMD. When I purchased it here though I got some crunch dry army green schwag. Now anyone who loves AFPAK should know it's a earthy moist strain with hints of purple in it. I'm not saying some strains are misrepresented here but I do know what I got wasn't the AFPAK I know and love. Arrive to your own conclusions but I will say I also purchased a half an ounce labeled "Mendicino Purps" from the vending machine and got some of the worst brown meds I've ever had or tasted. I dunno I guess I am very wary of some strains being misrepresented here.

Now on the positive side the top shelf ($65-$55 an 1/8th) stuff is all pretty good. The Blue Dream Haze is top notch there (I cant find that stuff anywhere but here and Ilove it!) and so is the Brainwreck. So tit for tat I guess. I would recommend going here only if you want to buy top shelf stuff and have time to wait, wait and wait on your hands. Be wary of some of the strains here and if you need stuff quickly and conveniently stay away from this place. Def. good stuff here but the few faults about this place are just too glaring to ignore. Which all in all make it 'just another dispensary' in the valley.

I have gone to TLMD for about 2 years and have not found a better dispensary yet. The selection, regular sales, give-aways, vast price range, and exceptional assistance provided is unrivaled. The only drawback about TLMD is one particular security guard who takes his job waaay too seriously. I mean, who is unfriendly and grumpy working at a cannabis club? Other than that ray of sunshine, TLMD is outstanding.

I was very disappointed the last time I went in. After waiting an hour to get into the club, I was ignored by 2 different staff members, when I asked a question because I didn't know what I wanted. When I finally placed my order, the guy was irate about some pizzas that were ordered and was slamming my purchase around on the counter. He even forgot to mark what was what and just walked away after he was done. Extremely rude and ill-tempered. A new rule was put into place recently not letting in those under 21 (even though I was a member before the rule) and was never called or told about it. (thanks for the long drive) I'll be taking my money else where next time thank you.

I went to this club for almost a year, great selection, great staff, security is more elaborate than most dispensaries but i can see why. Unfortunately, recently I was told to come back after their break on Jan 2nd and there would be a sale. Yet, when I got there I was greeted by being told that as of 2009 TLMD Is a 21+ Dispensary.

I do not understand how something medicinal can have an age requirement. I believe (as most dispensaries do) That even if you are under 18, if you have a valid doctors reccomendation, california ID and come with a parent or guardian that no one has any right to tell you that you are not eligible to go to their dispensary on the basis of age.

The security there not only is over the top, it makes you feel as if you will get robbed even by entering. Selection is good. Although the workers have a routine with each customer. It's the same line. Very disappointing. Makes you feel unwelcomed.

They had a huge variety with a whole range of prices as well. They even have sale prices on certain strains. The downside may be a hassle at the doors with security and perhaps a lengthy wait dependind on the hours you go. The great thing about this club is that they are open til 9pm, even on Sunday evenings!

This place has a huge selection and great people who work there. I've been going to TLMD for almost 2 years... zero complaints. We're lucky to have access to a club like this.

I was extremely disappointed with this cannabis club. The selection and quality of medication was very poor. I expected so much more from this place because their flyer was so cool. Don't be fooled!

I was very impressed with the professionals working for the dispensary. They new about the product and were very helpful in helping me choose the medication that would work for me. They also seemed very interested in how the meds worked to better help other patients. The location is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. (Unlike some other places around town) I highly recommend this dispensary for you if you have a need for quality product with low prices and no hassles.
