This place is real cool. Really, if you're worried about getting jacked, just go during the day. Pretty simple. The girls are very knowledgeable, and eager to help and give any advice they can, even if it's just from personal experience. They have at least six OG's at any given time, and they have some of the best quality buds I've had. Remember to tip, it really pays off if you're a regular. There's also a wide range of prices and some of the female cashiers are sexy as hell in that laid back kind of way.

So I decided to go down there finally after hearing so much about this hash bar my friends wouldn't shut up about. Honestly I've been to a couple hash bars and usually I'll be there for 5 minutes, take a toke and bounce, but I guess this one is supposedly different.

When I first got there it was kind of a pain to find a safe spot to park, but not unusal for an L.A. clinic. When I got to the door I was greeted by a guy behind a door who asked me for my rec and ID and to slip it through the slot. After he verified it was an original rec, he let met in and on I went. Once I got in, the security guard who I later found out was Big D, and the name fits pretty well for this guy. Friendly guy for being so big, though. So, I finish the paper work and it didn't take them too long to verify, which was a plus, and I finally get inside and am approached by a lovely lady who introduces herself. She breaks it down to me and informs me that first time patients get their first eigth weighed out 5 grams, which my friends forgot to mention. I ask for a recommendation and she tells me if I want idica, snoops and if want sativa, cheese and if I want the best of both worlds, go with one of the planetary OGs which are hybrids. Being a fan I gotta say the og was wow. They had all of them from Venus to Jupiter all the way to Pluto, and not to forget Mercury. One word...wow. So at the end I decided to get 2.5 snoops for sleep and 2.5 of mars which is for sure one of my new favorite strains and is great for the day. I ended paying like 60 bucks which isn't bad for their top shelf. Pretty fat 8th, too.

So I finally went up stairs and was pretty stoked to see they had cable and were watching the Lakers game. I was kinda shooked at first because it really does look like a bar, just no alcohol, more like concentrates and hash and bud. So this how the budtender broke it down.. I could get a hash which would cost me 3 to 5 bucks which is 3 to 4 hits depending on how fat I hit it. He could roll me a jay which ranges from 9 to 11 bucks, purchase a bowl of herb for 4 to 6 bucks, or I could get straight to the point and hit amber wax off the skillet. I was like wtf is a skillet, because I've heard of the wax. Oh man did I find out. All I'm gonna say, it's the bomb and I stayed to the end of the Laker game, not by choice. Go down there man and hit the skillet. Trust me, refer a patient and get a five gram eighth every time you do so. One Love Peace.

Wow, first time here and it looks great! I didn't know there was a club like this before now. Super chill spot upstairs. Security must have been bad before I guess but it seems pretty tight now, the guard was nice about it and he was like 7 feet tall! Ive been getting some BOMB sativas there, I have been seriously overpaying at the last place for the pretty much the same strains. Very recommended.

This was my first time returning since the shooting, it's still the same old club for the most part. Variety is lacking though, there's too many OG's that look too much alike. However, it is a good place to burn some hash.

It's still pricey though, my usual mantra applies. Cut into the margin a little more please. Times are rough and mid grade medical marijuana doesn't medicate me.

Not only did they take 30 mins take my order, the meds were so expansive, and they only had a few strains out! Either pick between jungle booty (shake) or a gram of the low end stuff. The owner is unfair. I hated this collective and I willnever go there again.

There has already been two shootings there. The first time no one died, but the guy is still alive with the bullet still in his arm; and the second time the Security Guard was shot and killed. For your information they don't have any new security, they have the same as they did before. It's in a bad area and not worth your life!

When I went into this club they had a very nice selection of high quality affordable goods . And chill area is nice upstairs . Great management and very compassionate prices . Above everything else I was surprised about there knowledge of product and the attention to detail. They asked me what I was using my medicine for and helped me to select some for what I needed . It was butta!

Okay so here is the deal. It is a very dangerous place to go to. There has been a stabbing once and a murder and arson. This place is over priced for all the problems it has. My life just is not worth this place.

Basically this place looks like your friends smelly basement in high school and the meds are way too expensive. Much better places than this. Just way overpriced and run by immature people. Not recommended!

This is the best club I've been to since I got my medicinal papers. They get the freshest selections frequently. They staff is always really well versed in the different varities that they have to offer. They also have the best unbroken buds I've seen in any club. They also package your goods while you're present. No bait and switch.

This used to be, the best club you can visit in L.A. Now since the best crew is gone, and they're left with bacon strips. All I can say,"Don't bother". There's way better clubs out there, and safer ones at that. People die there. They have better and cheaper meds elsewhere. If your looking for death be my guest. I'll see you in heaven. Also the staff is not knowledgable at all. They don't know what they're doing. The meds are so pricey. The only reason why I had to give them a star was because this site makes you for ratings.

Way overpriced! There are so many better, more reasonably priced places to go in the city. Also, a very unsafe place, has had numerous robberies, as well as the last security guard was killed there and that was not the first shooting they have had! Be very careful. This is no joke.

I've been a patient at this club for almost a year, I know they've gone through a lot of tough times and always manage to bounce back. The people that work there really do focus on compassionate care, they're all young and nice. I know their prices can get a little expensive but they always have quality meds in lower cost ranges, I never spend more then $70 and I'm always happy with my medicine. I like this spot and will always be a loyal patient and highly recommend the hash bar.

I go there for the fire, there are two girls on the second floor, rude, they talk to each other too much, and when I was there I've seen them stealing medicine, not my business. But the owner is rude too, I was line, waiting, and some chick walked in, he jumped up to help her, I was left looking stupid, then after she left he was like "can I help you". The bud is overpriced, but bomb. The staff is as dumb as a doorknob, they drop medicine everywhere. And they got poor security...I heard the last security there got smoked, so I don't go there anymore. That is a high killer, and could kill you.

Very nice people, but the buds are way overpriced. Their top strains aren't all that great and the hash bar upstairs is shady. However, they give a free gram and free pipe for first time patients. Unfortunately I just didn't feel comfortable here, I will not return.

I used to go to this club all the time, and it used to be great, but ever since they lost all of their good workers, it's gone drastically down hill. Now it's a bunch of idiots who know nothing! Way overpriced, as well. They used to get really good medicine, too and even that has gone way down hill. I don't know if they got a new owner or what, but this place sucks now. I will never go back! A waste of time!!!

Extremely busy. In fact two people cut me in line when I was there before them - yes, there was a line...not a private place at all. Poor staff (a couple of stoner chicks that knew nothing about cannabis) and very overpriced for less than stellar goods! I do not recommend this place at all.

La Brea Collective is a high end club. Their top shelf is very expensive at $75, but it's also some of the best I've ever seen and also some very nice hard to find strains. They have decent prices of hash and kif. They let patients medicate inside. If you're looking for bargain, go elsewhere, but if you have extra money to blow and want the fire, this may be the place for you.
