GGR has too many rules and regulations. I went there wearing a cap because it was cool. Cannot wear a cap into the bud room. However, the kid working there had a Yankees cap on? If you're going to have a no hat policy make sure the employees do the same. Small stuff like that...

This place is beat. The bud is overpriced. On their webpage they advertise Acapulco Gold for $50 an eighth. Come on...

The fact that they stay open late is a good thing. But when you have A doubles working the check in, funny rules, ugly chicks in the bud room trying to flirt, the dumb lecture from the "substitute teacher", it's a bit much.

I was going to buy an eighth but instead just got a $20 gram of some Ho Hum Diesel.

There are better places.

I am an honest individual and I'm into honest reviews and that's why I'm dedicating a good amount of time to make sure I have valid facts in this. When I choose medical cannabis clubs I look at other peoples' reviews first before I waste my time driving to the club and I feel like there is not enough accurate information lurking around the Internet about these clubs.

There are a couple additional facts and issues I want to make sure to bring up in addition to the "good and bad" of this club. I use their real name and my real name to have to most accurate review possible.

Information about me: I've visited all three of their locations, San Diego (my favorite), Venice (ran out of business and I wonder why), and west Los Angeles (main). I think I'm the only member out of their 25 different employees’ that’s been to all three. There must also be a ”reason why they have 25 different employee's". I'm afraid there isn't and I'll let the audience use their brains to brainstorm why it’s not a good thing to have an excess of employees.

Before I get into the lists of good and bad's of this club I'm going to state a simple fact. This is the #1 best example of how to turn a "compassionate-based, non-profit organization into the stereotypical, Hollywood and fast cash making corporation." I mean I don't know of any other clubs that have 25 DIFFERENT employees that they hired/fired on a weekly basis. If they improved many of their administrative mistakes then this club would be the dream of any future entrepreneur to own/direct.

GOOD: Good quality medicine compared to only six other competing dispensaries within a two-mile radius. Fast enough to scale and sell you the medicine but they are slow when checking in.

BAD: They don't know what the difference is between patient and customer. They even start to "moan and grunt" after you ask to see another selection after your 1st choice, so that means if you want to be on their good side, you need to pick your medicine on your first choice of what you're looking at. Now what kind of compassionate organizations are they that you need to sacrifice your shopping skills in order to be on their "good side" I thought the whole idea was for them to go out of THEIR way get on YOUR good side. Secondly, after your first three minute "interview" when joining the club you will never receive such excellent customer service (thanks Joana for being the nicest of all security/receptionist/manager/budtender levels) I can go on but then it'll just become biased but seriously what more do you need to know that their whole foundation is built on "service" and is to take as much money as you can.

I'm sorry I can’t provide anymore disadvantages but in my eyes this is good enough. They charge $80 for weed I've seen 50 miles away for $50 cap and their mid grades at $60-65 which I've seen for $40 AT THE SAN DIEGO LOCATION! You guys listen to this the same strain the same brand the same distributor the same quality (only diff location) for $40 an 8th? That's amazing maybe San Diego just always keeps their overall price down for all their collectives. It's a waste of money but hey if your like 40 years old and your rich go ahead just throw away $80 an 8th when it only costs like $10 to produce and $30 to buy your wasting $50 that’s a lot of money people.

I'm happy to say that I've actually found other clubs that charge slightly cheaper with BETTER QUALITY MEDICINE as GGR. If you live around the Los Angeles area send me a message and I'll recommend two other clubs I've found at same price and one that's cheaper. Together we can spread the word and take their businesses out of business and get more for our dollars worth. I mean if your going to charge me an arm and a leg for something that costs nothing to grow outside and $10 an 8th to grow inside, I might as well be paying for some decent customer service and atmosphere. You guys could at least pretend to even care or be nice to your customers. I continue to use GGR only for emergencies because of their quality and long hours but you know what I'm just wasting money each time.

It's alright weed for the price, the staff is alright except for one fat kid that wears black glasses and a sally like beard. The parking is good, the security guards are warm and friendly. They know a sufficient information about cannibus.

I love the selection of buds they have, some of the best I've ever had. Plus you get a free fat joint in a nice little container for first time patients. Not to mention their edibles are great. They even have soda that messes you up!

This is the worst caregiver out there. They insisted a certain strain was Kush when I knew it wasn't simply by the smell and look of the bud. The workers are all users with zombie like attitudes. They are rude and I saw one worker actually yell at a customer. I would recommend anyplace else than Gourmet Green Room.

The GGR has a very nice selection of flowers, but out of the 1/2 dozen times I have been in, I've felt rushed and felt zero recognition by the staff, although the same person waited on me at least 3 times.

I'm not very impressed with their loyal customers discount. You have to buy at least $300 worth of herb and they give you one gram free.

There has never been a time that anything was ever a smidgeon over (not that I expect that, but the number of times I've been in, I anticipated a better loyality discount).

Overall, it's a decent place, if you don't mind feeling rushed and not feeling comfortable when asking questions about their meds. The staff seemed a bit put off by my questions since there were others waiting in line.
