I tried this place in late 2010. the price range was $65-$95, for eighths! I laughed and walked out. Anyone looking for a far better deal can go up Western 10 blocks to Natural Remedies who I notice had 1 strain at $60 on my last visit, with most eighths between $25 and $55. review form

I went in with a smile and a hello, and got a rude comment from the guard right off the bat. He shot up from his chair towards me like I was about to rob him. I know as well as anyone that the first time you walk into a room, it takes a second to know where you are supposed to go (the teeny window in the corner). In NO way do I even look remotely threatening. I just shrugged it off and greeted the lady, "How's it going." The lady at the desk was nice and in passing I asked if there was someone to talk to about checking out meds. She said they only do that by appointment and that they were booked for a month, which is all good. I have absolutely no objection about that but I still wanted to check out some edibles. "No, I don't want him in here," said someone in the back. The guy couldn't even tell me face to face what was wrong despite him hiding behind the wall next to the window. The check lady gave me very confused looks after she explained to him I wanted meds she said, "I guess we're not taking you as a patient." Another stern rude comment came from the guard, "We're not taking you." Her started moving towards me and waving me out. I barely had a chance to put my ID and Rec away.

Boy THAT was comfortable! Or should I say a bit scary?

Best freakin' ganja ever! Alright my friends, I've discovered a hidden utopia, boutique like atmosphere, very friendly, attractive, knowledgable staff. A sexy girl with long dark hair greeted me as I came in, and then a short funny guy helped me pick out the craziest weed I ever smoked/tasted/or seen in my life! I see a lot of complaints about prices for this shop, and I expected over priced weed, to be honest, but no, you get what you pay for my friends, steak is steak, lobster is lobster and caviar is what I got at Apothecary, exceeding my expectations. I will never go anywhere else!

Some of these reviews are too harsh. Apothecary 420 is not a dispensary you go to for hookups. They have some true top shelf strains here, especially if your into sativas. Yes, their prices are on the high end, higher than you'll pay almost anywhere else.

I've been to a whole lot of caregivers and I just want to say this place is way overpriced. The quality of the marijuana is great. Service is great. The cleanliness of the place is great. Everything is awesome really... except you can't charge that much and also stinge you on the weighing... three times. Trust me, there are way too many legit caregivers around this place that makes me not go back. I also tell all my friends to never go.

This place had a very good reputation in reviews for some reason, so I checked it out. In fairness the meds were very good, but way over priced and by way over priced I mean double the price. It's cannibis I mean come on! I can't recommend this place based on prices, I won't go back even though I liked the stuff.

Wow, and thats not a good reveiw for this place, thats the word I used when they told me their prices. I pay less elsewhere for some of the best around. This place wanted way more. Like the other review said, are they joking? Friendly, nice inside, but I will not pay those ridiculous prices. They seemd pissed when I left without buying anything, my buddy bought 2 grams. He bought 1 each of their best. I can get better for less. I can't recommend this club.

This place is over rated and a rip-off. When you see the high prices, you know you are being ripped off, because nothing is worth that much.

I went here when I was new to medical marijuana, but now I go to the Valley for my needs, it costs less for the same quality. This place has great meds; sure, but it's not worth paying through the teeth; when you can get the same for much less.

I'm from San Diego, where our DA made sure to (illegally) scare off all dispensaries. So aside from a smallish dispensary in Dana Point, I go to LA for my medicine. I've been to exactly four different dispensaries, which isn't many, but these guys are the best I've been to. My newbie medicinal status seemed to make them extra solicitous; they had great recommendations for appropriate medicine and never rushed me. I've seen the comments that a few said about their being expensive. But while I've bought cheaper medicine, we're only talking a token difference from what I've seen, and their specials are really priced low. I will be back soon. It's a great place.

This place is the best. Clean environment, nice people, and usually very little wait time. Have to give them props on the location, too: next door to KFC.

The medicine is top notch, the type of stuff that makes tokers of thirty years say that they're the stoned-est they've ever been. Go ahead and try the Skywalker OG or Swiss Cheese (both $105/eighth) if you don't believe me.

Also, the s'mores are pretty tasty, but stay away from the Nice Crispy Treats.

This is Mecca for medical cannabis users! You must go!

And if you need a doc, might I recommend Sona Patel, MD. Very compassionate!

The folks at this holistic caregiver I would say I consider them family. I benefit a lot from medical marijuana. I never had any better experience from other places that I have been to before until now when I stayed with them. I felt I am confident I wont be smoking fiberglass. This place is awesome, the staff are awesome too. But not as awesome as the Platinum OG that they have.

This has to be one of the best collectives in the area. They have a ridiculous selection of many fine strains that are all across the board which will leave you indecisive. The service is always friendly and they put an effort out to make sure you will leave happy. I keep coming back since they always have something new which is great and I hardly ever leave unsatisfied.

Nice place, spotless clean and stylish with strong meds but they seem to be a bit on the greedy side because they tend to short you! I definitely loved the meds but when they aren't honest on the scale I have to look elsewhere.

Apothecary 420 brings a touch of Dutch to the local dispensary in both aesthetic style and personal approach. The owners are friendly and personally greet their regular customers at the door. The staff is knowledgeable and the meds are extremely high in quality and selection. Many of the prices are close to fair but the top shelf strains cost a staggeringly high price.

The Swiss Cheese is priced at $105/eighth which may be the most expensive in town. It's certainly primo bud but worth $105? I think not. If you have bottomless pockets then this maybe the place for you. But if you're someone like me who enjoys top quality at a fair price then you might want take a trip to the valley.

Amazing bud. $25 for each gram but, there is a strange vibe everytime I go. I went my second time and they wouldn't let me in, the owner said I was a jerk. I spoke to him and I never met him. The free gift is nothing. However the bud makes up for the attitude they give you.

I don't get it? All these people are saying how good this place is but I find this place to be a rip off! Don't get me wrong, yes, they have great potent meds but I can definitely find cheaper places with just as good quality meds with great service as well. And they are only about 5 mins. away from each other.

Awesome place! Good vibe, welcoming atmosphere, very clean.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. They were very patient and helpful in selecting the right meds for my condition. They also gave me a free gift.

One of the largest selections of meds that is fresh and the quality is tops at great prices. I’m definitely going back again and again!

Have been to this dispensary twice and both experiences have been excellent. High quality strains of both sativa and indica and really danky hybrids. The service was excellent and they are always super nice. Definitely recommend. It's worth getting stuck in LA traffic for this place. Highly recommend!

One of the best places to buy your product. Professional and clean looking inside, normal everyday neighborhood on the outside. Friendly staff that always presents like a Dr. Office.

Product is very high quality, everything there when I went was Organic and clearly grown indoors.

Not so crazy about Hash I got there but never tried it before and it was never really my thing so I may not be a good judge.

Otherwise, highly recommend. It's my main vendor now.

The best club I have ever had the pleasure of stepping foot in! The staff is really knowledgable. I have narcolepsy (an affliction not typically treated with marijuana) and they helped me select a sativa to keep me alert and awake during the day and a heavy indica to put me to sleep at night.

Everyone was friendly and I felt welcomed. They had an awesome selection too. They even had cannabis cola which i'll have to try next time. Someone also gave me a gift, too, which I totally wasn't expecting and it made my day!

I'm definitely going back! I just had to write a review since this is where I found them.

1st time buyer, went here. Awesome staff, Awesome facility. Did not feel intimidated at all. Knowledgeable and helpful staff explained everything to me, didn't feel rushed, one on one service. Let me smell the buds, they weigh them in front of you. So many buds too, i didn't know where to look. This place is really nice. It has a really good atmosphere. They had about 30 different types of medicine all pretty good quality. I was really happy with my two 1/8's i got for my first time. I went back 3 days later cause i liked it so much i really recommend this place.

Yes Yes Yes! Why hadn't I been going to Apothecary 420 all along? This place is doing it right, really friendly, knowledgeable, patient staff who make every effort to give the customer a great experience. They had a vast, very fresh looking selection of flowers with a wide variation of prices. I got a nice deal on an oz of organic sativa and some very tasty skunk hash. Thanks!
