This collective was only worth going to once a month to use the buy-one-get-one coupon they have each month in the LA Jemm. The people were creepy and the bud was overpriced and nothing special. I went by yesterday and apparently the collective was closed down...nothing like karma for ripping off so many sick, dying, or in pain people.

Unfortunately I am writing this review post-raid that took place earlier this evening. I would be asleep right about now but was not able to get the medicine needed for my insomnia. (The only thing that ever helped me fall asleep at a decent hour.)

I most appreciated the service that this establishment provides for their patients. The customer service alone is truly amazing.

They went out of their way for myself and other patients who frequent there to welcome and provide exceptional service to us. In fact, just about every employee I have come into contact with, at this store, conduct themselves in a similar manner. Lame. Nobody wins here. Truly sad situation.

Hands down the worst club. They rip people off knowingly. They have a $100 eighth that is just as good as a $50 eighth from other clubs, but they exploit peoples lack of knowledge about medical marijuana to take advantage of them and sell them crappy meds. Do not support their business.

This club is atrocious. There is about 50 strains. 2 are worth smoking and you'll have to pay $25-$30 a gram, $75- $80 an eighth, or $600 - $800 an oz. Haha. Nexxxxxt.

The club is pretty nice, verification was quick and easy. They have a nice selection of glass as you walk in. Strains range from $30 - $15 a gram but the best deals are their $20 grams. They smoke and look way better. The people there are nice and hook up a little extra (first time I went I bought a dub and got 1.6 on one gram and 1.2 on the other, second time I got 1.3 and 1.5) so they are pretty generous. Or maybe I'm just that cool.

Overall this is one of my favorite clubs, I just wish their high ($30) and low end ($15) buds weren't crap for the price.

My favorite! I love how we get our special little cards so we dont have to walk around with our Dr. recommendation like "look at me look at me!" They had a very open spacious club with the biggest selection I have yet to run into in the Balboa area.

Dank buds, varied prices, great deals for first time patients, got a free pipe, lighter, dub [when u buy one get equal amount free], and half off all shake!!!! That means I got a gram of pineapple express for $6!

And the guys behind the counter have souls. They are very friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable environment, friendly service, large selections on smoke accessories and cannabis, Over 50 strains, yummy goodies, and the only place that gives you credit and save them for later.

The receptionist had a bad attitude. The guys behind the counter were, indeed, snobby and seemingly soulless. It was like walking into a Valley party. These guys are lifeless and cold; zombies. They definitely don't have anywhere near the dankiest of herbs and didn't hook it up. They need to change their vendors. Poor service, weak medicine. Boo.

Most of the reviews for GSC so far have not been to good. However, I disagree with them all. Golden State has to one of the best clubs I have been to in Southern California. They have well over 40 strains to choose from. All ranged from strongest to the weakest. Their stronger strains are out of this world. Some of the best medicine I have run into. Unlike other dispensaries Golden State is always stocked on their edibles. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. If you have any questions about any of the product they are happy to help you find what your looking for. If you head down to Golden State I would definatly recommend either "GSC OG" and "GOD'S OG". You won't be disappointed.

Friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Quick verification process, good gifts for first-timers, and a huge selection of strains at great prices.

Cons: If you are looking for the dankest of the dank, look somewhere else. The place has a huge variety, but the best strains are not that great. In the end: worth driving 10-20 miles for, and definitely worth a visit!

Note: I have only been once, so quality, price and choice are subject to change.

This place was horrible, literally. Just stay away from here there's plenty others in the area that are better than this place. I felt like I might even get robbed at any time and felt obligated to purchase poor quality meds.

I have been going to Golden State Collective since they opened. I have seen the owners work so hard to make an awesome, clean and legitimate environment for their patients to go to. The customer service is the best!

This medical cannabis dispensary wasnt too bad. The prices werent the highest in town, but the herb could definitely be of better quality.

Golden State Collective has very low grade herb, crapy hash, and the clones are a joke! If you need to smoke the best, dont go here!
