Welcome to Orange County Norml. We are a Norml chapter that has fun and gets things done :). You are invited to participate as much or as little as you wish. Ocnorml is currently meeting on the third Friday of the month at Giovanni's Pizza, 922 W Williams in Fullerton 92832. Free Pizza Tap Beer Free comedy shorts.
The next regularly scheduled meeting is Friday June 19th 7:00 PM. On the big screen: the ACLU and travel writer Rick Steves join forces for a multimedia education campaign on the history and impacts of marijuana laws. We will show clips from Marijuana it's Time For a Conversation and have library copies available.
Next Beach Rally is Saturday May 23rd 2-6 pm (Mark will be there at 1:00 for early starters J)

On the big screen we will show the new 2008 A.C.L.U. program on Marijuana hosted by Rick Steves. Run time 25 minutes. Library copies of the show will be available to Ocnorml members.

OC NORML Meetings

The next OC NORML monthly meeting will be on Friday, January 16 at 7 PM at Giovannis Pizza. The location is 922 W. Williamson in Fullerton on Euclid one street from Commonwealth.
At this meeting we will give a financial report for last year’s activities and plan events and goals for the new year. Meeting topics will include preparations for the Doo Dah Parade which is a few days after the meeting. It would be a good idea if you are going to attend the parade that you come to the meeting, but not necessary.
OC NORML will participate in the Doo Dah Parade on Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Old Town Pasadena. This is an extremely amusing and fun event and I invite everyone to join us. OC NORML will be paying for all marchers entry fee and will have extra props, signs and banners for participants to hold so please join us.
The parade begins at 11:30 so we ask that attendees try to arrive at 10:00 am to meet up and if possible enjoy the pancake breakfast at the parade provided by the senior center of Pasadena.
The staging area is located on Raymond Avenue, between Holly & Walnut Streets, at the park.
OC NORML likes to meet on the top level of the parking structure adjacent to the park where the parade organizes. I will send another email prior to the event with exact address of parking garage!

OC NORML Meetings

The OC NORML November meeting that was scheduled for Friday, November 21 is going to be moved back two weeks.
The new date will be Friday, December 5 at 7PM. We'll roll the December and November meeting together and make it earlier in the month. As a treat I will bring a special holiday goodie since we'll be meeting during the holiday season!
The meeting location is the same as usual Giovanni's Pizza 922 W. Williamson in Fullerton on Euclid one street from Commonwealth.
Also, OC ASA meeting Wednesday, November 12 8 PM at Giovannis Pizza.
Sorry about the change and I hope to see you all at the meeting!
