Los Angeles City Council Hearing with Chief Bratton
The Los Angeles City Council will conduct a public hearing with
LAPD Chief Bratton to discuss the department’s involvement in the
raids at collectives on July 25. This is an important step towards
stopping LAPD cooperation with the DEA on medical cannabis raids.
City hall is very close to the WAMC March, so you can attend both.
However, you may not take protest signs into City Hall. The Public
Hearing with Bratton is not yet listed on the agenda, so it is unclear
when it will occur during the meeting.
